CATALYST DANCE MASTERCLASS SERIES AT CARRIAGEWORKS
Catalyst aims to provide skills development and training for dance practitioners, teachers, choreographers and dancers with and without disability currently working or interested in working in inclusive practices. The Catalyst objectives are in response to several key recommendations identified from the Dance Symposium held by Accessible Arts in 2011.
Over the three workshops participants will:
Experience professional development and trainingExplore strategies and methods for devising workEngage with some of Australia’s leading choreographers
As the series is designed as a progressive skills development process participants are encouraged to attend all three workshops to gain the most benefits. The series will culminate in a small creative development and an informal public showing with a Q & A of all participants and master teachers.
